TASTING NOTES
Amarone Classico Corte Manara comes from the vineyards placed in the most classic areas of Valpolicella in Negrar Mariano and San Pietro in Cariano the grapes grown are the indigenous classic cultivars of the Verona territory which are usually harvested around the second week of October in small boxes and put in drying. This process allows the concentration of the content of the berry through dehydration that occurs in environments with good air and controlled humidity called fruttai. This drying phase lasts until January when the grapes are de-stemmed and vinified with maceration. When the fermentation is completed the wine is separated from the skins and placed in in oak barrels for aging in Slavonian oak for 18 months. After this period the wines are blended and put in steel for another 18 months before bottling and marketing.
